After Abigail came on the scene, Kim at work decided that since there is 3 girls, I needed to play Pretty Pretty Princess with them, and even gave them their own game. Hopefully they won't lose all the pieces. Anyways, we played and here is the proof in pictures. I was the blue princess and I didn't win, because I didn't get the crown. There is always next time.
So apparently we are bad parents. It took me so long to get the training whells off of Kassidy's bike that one day she just decided to pick up Kaitlyn's bike and away she went. And then their is the obligatory Ben picture on his big boy bike, looking dapper as always.
Auntie Buster, often referred to as Debby, was the first family visitor to come and see Abbey. She was the first to see Ben too. I guess that is what happens when your job in based out of DC.
We were trying to figure out which of our other babies most looked like Abigail. Here are four shots of the four kids, and we will see if you can tell which is which. Good Luck
Kaitlyn had a play for her first grade class on April 30. She was a caterpillar/butterfly. She also sang a solo for the fireflies. She did very well. A poorly shot, jumpy, short clip of her singing follows.
Ben has been awaiting the birth of our new baby for months now. He started calling it baby April, since that is when we kept telling him it would be born. So we went to the hospital at 7:00 am on Saturday, April 25 and at 10:50 am, Abigail Ruth Robinson was born, weighing in at 8 pounds, 4 ounces and 20 inches. All went well, and Ariane and baby came home the next day.
Nothing fun happened in March, at least we didn't take any pictures. But this was Ben crashing after his usual morning of activities, playing with the fire trucks, stuffed animals and running around lie a crazed man until he simply just crashes. I wish I could do that.
Benjamin's 3rd birthday. The bowling alley didn't mention that they only had 4 open lanes for duckpin bowling, nor the fact that you could reserve those lanes. So instead of the much awaited bowling outing, we hit Chuck E Cheese instead. I don't think he was too disappointed.
We took President's Day and went and found an outdoor skating rink in Annapolis. This was the kids first skating experience. The girls did reasonably well, while Ben did not so well. He was content just pushing around the little skater-helpers.
The Robinson children preparing for that one time each year where there is actually almost enough snow in Maryland to make a snowman. Of course, this accumulation of 3-6 inches closed schools for three days . . .
